Our founder Dr. Tomas I. Marimon, started this medical practice in 1985 after completing his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital. His practice developed into a trusted and well-respected women’s health office in the community of Miami-Dade County. In the year of 1996, Kendall Regional Hospital opened The Women’s Center which includes labor and delivery floor, post-partum private suites, and newborn nursery. Dr. Tomas Marimon delivered the unit’s first patient in the new labor floor. With the experience gained from multiple years in practice and the expertise of a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Tomas Marimon provided exceptional medical care for over 25 years to the community. In 2011, his son Dr. Adrian Marimon joined the medical practice, and the two physicians worked alongside each other.
Dr. Adrian Marimon was born and raised in Miami. He is a graduate of the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Today the practice continues to be focused at Kendall Regional Medical Center with additional services provided at West Kendall Baptist Hospital and at the soon to be opened Jackson West Hospital in Doral. Additionally, the practice has grown its services and provides increased access to women’s health care in the community through highly trained and specialized nurse practitioners in obstetrics and gynecology.
With more than 35 years of experience, the practice continues to believe healthcare should be delivered with excellence to all patients without discrimination and in a manner that is culturally sensitive and inclusive.
